The Matranga Family Business
Stanley J. Matranga
Stan Matranga is a surety bond professional with over 35 years of surety experience. Stan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Insurance from California State University, Sacramento. In 1997, he earned the premier Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Having grown up in a construction family, as well as working in various capacities with a commercial builder, Stan knows the ins-and-outs of the construction business. Prior to establishing MBI in 1998, Stan worked for several surety insurance companies where he developed his underwriting expertise and complete understanding of the surety market. With his keen business acumen and surety background, Stan is an expert at presenting even the most difficult cases to the surety company with positive results.
When Stan isn’t working for his clients, you may find him on the golf course, bike trail, or showing his German Shorthaired Pointer.
Eric V. Matranga
Eric Matranga is a surety bond specialist that has been providing outstanding service to his clients since 2013. Having grown up in the family business, Matranga Bonds & Insurance Services, Eric knows first-hand about dedication and performance.
A strong believer in the importance of developing long-lasting relationships is the foundation of everything Eric does, both professionally and personally.
Eric received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Southern California.
Outside of work Eric enjoys spending time playing golf, exploring the outdoors, and reading.
